Degustation on the Thorrenc Viaduct
Mushrooms taste better
- when they are treated well

Our mushrooms are nurtured by Mr. Twist inside the 270m Thorrenc Tunnel which runs under a cool granite mountain.
This accident of geology and history has created a space with the exact temperature and humidity that makes it “mushroom paradise”. It is an environment that any intelligent mushroom would “die for” – and indeed “live for” too.
There, they are left to sleep quietly without any interruptions from the modern world. And when they wake up from this long sleep they feel refreshed – and are very fresh.
And of course there is eventually the inevitable light at the end of the tunnel – because, when our mushrooms come out onto the Viaduct of Thorrenc, they have the most beautiful view in the world, of the Medieval village of Thorrenc. What a way to see the light of day when you’re born!

And sometimes, while our mushrooms are sleeping, Mr. Twist plays them Medieval music. And sometimes he lets them drink a sip of Thorrenc wine, by sprinkling it in their soil.
No one else lets mushrooms taste anything so delicious.
And, in return, no other mushrooms make themselves taste so delicious.
“I love mushrooms and they love me.” Mr. Twist explains. “A mushroom should not be farmed – it should be inspired.”
Mr. Twist invites you to taste the resulting difference of our “Mushrooms with a View”!
